Membership for 2018


Membership is open to anyone with an interest in Dorset's birds and birdwatching. Membership subscriptions run for one calendar year and are due on the 1st of January if paid by Standing Order or cheque.


However, if a PayPal recurring payment is created then the subscription will be taken out on the same day each year until cancelled.

Standing Orders and Gift Aid


To enable us to run our membership administration efficiently, saving time and reducing costs, we would encourage you to set  up a standing order to pay your membership. An initial payment is due on joining the Club and thereafter it would be automatically collected on 1st January each year.


If you are a tax payer, please consider signing a gift aid form allowing the Club to claim back the tax paid on your membership from the Inland Revenue. There is no cost to you and there is no set time committment.

Conservation Fund

Surplus funds from the membership subscriptions, and from other sources, are allocated to the Club’s Conservation Fund.


The Fund is used to support small projects within the county

- applications to the Fund are welcomed from individuals (members and non-members), groups or organisations.
