Membership for 2017
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in Dorset's birds and birdwatching. Membership subscriptions run for one calandar year and are due on the 1st of January. However if you join after 1st October your membership expires at the end of the following year (receiving up to 15 months membership).
Standing Orders and Gift Aid
To enable us to run our membership administration efficiently, saving time and reducing costs, we would encourage you to set up a standing order to pay your membership. An initial payment is due on joining the Club and thereafter it would be automatically collected on 1st January each year.
If you are a tax payer, please consider signing a gift aid form allowing the Club to claim back the tax paid on your membership from the Inland Revenue. There is no cost to you and there is no set time committment.

A copy of the annual “Dorset Bird Report”
A programme of outdoor field meetings
Occasional indoor meetings & bird conferences
Discounts from a selection of local businesses including natural history books.
Surplus funds from the membership subscriptions, and from other sources, are allocated to the Club’s Conservation Fund.
The Fund is used to support small projects within the county
- applications to the Fund are welcomed from individuals (members and non-members), groups or organisations.
